Battenkill Veterinary PC began as a partnership between Drs. Gretchen Allen, Kurt Lutgens, and Joseph Cali in 1982.  The practice has grown since that day to three separate businesses: Companion/Small Animal (cat and dog), Bovine, and Equine divisions.  We are conveniently located in Greenwich, NY, with quick access to Saratoga, Rensselaer, and Washington counties in NY, and southwestern Vermont.

Our goal as a Veterinary Hospital is to provide the best possible medical care for our patients through disease prevention, diagnostic testing, surgery, and client education.  The Companion Animal division has many longtime employees, including Doctors, Licensed Technicians, and support staff, all of whom are dedicated to the health and well being of your pets. Dr. Allen was recently certified as a 'Fear Free' professional because of the steps we take to make your pets feel as comfortable as possible.
